Setting Availability

Let your league know when you’re available to umpire. This helps administrators assign games and ensures you only see relevant opportunities.

Managing Your Availability

Access your availability calendar from the Availability tab on mobile or from your dashboard on desktop. For each date, you can set one of three statuses:

  • Available All Day - You can work any time that day
  • Partially Available - You can work during specific time windows
  • Unavailable - You can’t work that day

Setting Availability for a Single Day

  1. Open your availability calendar
  2. Tap on the date you want to update
  3. Choose your availability status:
    • Available All Day — marks you as free for the entire day
    • Partially Available — lets you specify one or more time ranges (e.g., 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM)
    • Unavailable — blocks the entire day
  4. If you chose Partially Available, add your available time ranges and tap Save
  5. To clear a date’s availability, tap the Clear button

Set your availability early in the season. This helps league administrators plan and ensures you get games when you’re free. This is especially important as tournament season approaches.

Partial Availability with Time Ranges

When you select Partially Available, you can specify exactly when you’re free:

  1. Add one or more time ranges (e.g., 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM, 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM)
  2. Each range requires a start and end time
  3. Use the + button to add additional time windows
  4. Remove a time range by tapping the delete button next to it

This is useful when you have other commitments during the day but can still work certain hours.

Bulk Update Availability

Need to set the same availability across multiple dates? Use the Bulk Update feature:

  1. Tap Bulk Update Availability at the bottom of the calendar
  2. Set a date range (start and end dates)
  3. Select which days of the week to apply (e.g., only Saturdays and Sundays)
  4. Choose the availability status (Available All Day, Partially Available, or Unavailable)
  5. If partially available, add your time ranges
  6. Tap Update to apply

This is especially helpful for setting recurring schedules — for example, marking yourself available every weekend for the next month.

Bulk updates only apply to today and future dates. Past dates cannot be modified.

How Availability Affects Assignments

  • Self-Assignment — Games on unavailable dates may be hidden or marked
  • Admin Assignments — Administrators see your availability when assigning
  • Notifications — You won’t get alerts for games during unavailable times

Updating Availability

Plans change, and that’s okay. Update your availability anytime:

  1. Open your availability calendar
  2. Tap on the date to modify
  3. Change or remove the availability
  4. Save your changes

Changing availability doesn’t automatically reassign games. If you’re already assigned to a game on a date you mark unavailable, contact your league administrator.
